Alygnn ("Alygnn," "we," "us," or "our") operates a job-matching and recruiting platform through alygnn.com, related web pages, and supported mobile applications (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices available to candidates, employers, and employer team members.
This policy applies when you create or use an account, upload or build a resume, set job preferences, browse or apply to jobs, communicate through Alygnn, operate an employer account, verify a business, review candidates, purchase a plan or add-on, or otherwise use the Service.
When an employer purchases a paid plan, Second Job Slot, Weekly Job Slot, Job Boost, team seat, or other paid feature, payment-card information is processed by Stripe or another payment processor. Alygnn may receive and store:
Alygnn does not store full payment-card numbers or card security codes.
We may collect browser type, operating system, device type, app version, IP address, approximate geographic information derived from technical data, timestamps, error logs, security signals, and general usage information needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Service.
If you enter a city, state, address, job location, or similar place information, we process that information to provide location-based features and matching. If a supported address or place-autocomplete provider is used, the text you enter may be sent to that provider to return suggestions.
We collect information you send when you contact Alygnn, request help, report abuse, dispute a transaction, request an account or name change, or otherwise communicate with us.

Alygnn Match may compare job-related information from a job posting with information in a candidate's resume, such as skills, work experience, role history, and explicitly required education, to produce an informational match score or label.
Alygnn does not intend to use protected characteristics such as race, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, age, or other legally protected traits to calculate Alygnn Match. The score does not make a hiring decision and is not intended to be a solely automated employment decision with legal or similarly significant effect. Employers remain responsible for independently reviewing candidates and complying with employment and anti-discrimination laws.
We may also use AI-assisted services for functions such as resume parsing, draft job-description generation, matching, and reviewing custom job-posting entries for relevance, professionalism, or spam. Information sent to an AI service provider is limited to what is reasonably needed to provide the requested feature. AI output may be inaccurate and should be reviewed by the user.
Candidates may be able to keep an uploaded resume and an Alygnn-built resume and choose which one Alygnn should use as the active resume. The active selection is used where the Service supports resume-based applications and employer access.
When a candidate applies to a job, the employer and authorized employer team members may be able to view candidate information and the resume made available through Alygnn. Employers may also be able to download the resume. Once information has been viewed, downloaded, or otherwise received by an employer, Alygnn cannot guarantee that changing the active resume or deleting the account will remove copies already retained by that employer.
Employers are independent users of the Service and are responsible for their own use, storage, disclosure, and deletion of candidate information after they receive it, subject to applicable law.
Messages are stored so candidates and employers can communicate about an application. Conversation participants and authorized employer team members may have access to messages associated with their recruiting workflow. Messages are not intended to be public.
The current candidate messaging flow may require the employer to initiate the conversation after an application before the candidate can reply. We also store notification records and read/unread state for events such as new applicants, messages, and application activity.
We may send transactional emails or supported app/browser notifications for account verification, password resets, messages, applications, billing, security, and other Service-related events.

We use cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar browser or app technologies to keep users signed in, preserve per-tab sessions, remember preferences and drafts, support resume-builder functionality, maintain onboarding state, and operate security and Service features.
We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels for targeted advertising.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain account and application history, support billing and fraud prevention, resolve disputes, comply with law, enforce agreements, and protect the Service.
Retention periods may differ by data type. For example, payment records may be retained to satisfy accounting or legal requirements; employer verification records may be retained to document verification or fraud-prevention activity; and application or message records may be retained for legitimate recruiting, security, support, or dispute-resolution purposes.
You may request account deletion or use available account controls. Deletion from Alygnn does not necessarily delete copies already downloaded, exported, or lawfully retained by an employer or another independent recipient. Backup copies may persist for a limited period before deletion or overwrite.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls and security features provided by our infrastructure vendors. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, state privacy law may provide rights to know, access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, and in some circumstances to opt out of certain uses or disclosures. Alygnn does not currently sell personal information for money or use personal information for third-party cross-context behavioral advertising.
We will respond to verified requests as required by applicable law. You may also have the right to appeal certain decisions or use an authorized agent where provided by law.
The Service is not intended for children under 18 unless a different minimum age is expressly permitted by applicable law and Alygnn's product requirements. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information improperly, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
The Service may be accessible from countries outside the United States. Availability of jobs, payment methods, plans, and features may vary by location. Information may be processed and stored in the United States and in other locations where Alygnn or its service providers operate. If you use the Service from another country, your information may be transferred to jurisdictions with data-protection laws different from those in your country.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service changes. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and may provide additional notice where appropriate or required by law.
